SLCF&GA has long worked to gain increased public access. We worked with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation to obtain important land in the Bookcliffs region which allowed public access to previously closed prime big game habitat. We made contributions to make the Knolls public access on Utah Lake possible. We helped the UDWR to build a Boardwalk Extension at the Strawberry Visitors' Center to better view spawning trout and salmon.
